We are the “data controller” for the personal data described in this policy, meaning we decide how and why it is used.
What data we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and run this website:
- Enquiry form data — first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, the service(s) you’re interested in, and your message, submitted when you use the contact form on this site.
- Consent record — whether you’ve agreed to be contacted about your enquiry and, if you opted in, to receive marketing communications.
- Cookie & usage data — technical data collected via cookies, covered in full in our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health or financial information) through this website, and we don’t ask for more than we need to deal with your enquiry.
How we use it, and why
To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — because taking these steps at your request is necessary for us to deal with you before any contract is in place (legitimate interests / pre-contract steps).
To send you marketing communications — only where you’ve actively ticked the consent box on our form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
To keep records for accounting, legal and security purposes — because we have a legitimate interest in running a compliant, secure business.
We never sell your personal data, and we don’t use it for anything beyond what’s described here.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers (data processors) to run this website and respond to you:
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — delivers our email notifications and, where you’ve opted in, marketing emails. Brevo is based in the EU; see Brevo’s privacy policy.
- GoDaddy — hosts this website and the enquiry data submitted through it.
- CookieYes — manages cookie consent on this site; see our Cookie Policy.
Where any of these providers process data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards (such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent standard contractual clauses) to keep it protected. We do not share your data with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal record-keeping (normally up to 7 years, in line with HMRC requirements). If your enquiry doesn’t lead to any further contact, we’ll delete your details within 24 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (right of access)
- ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification)
- ask us to delete your data (erasure), where applicable
- ask us to restrict how we use your data
- object to us using your data for marketing at any time
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these, email anson@rawbranding.co.uk. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Keeping your data secure
This site is served entirely over HTTPS with HSTS enabled, and access to the systems that store your enquiry data is restricted to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the tools or services we use change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
